Redlands Uniting Church is part of the Uniting Church in Australia. As a whole, the Uniting Church has a common set of beliefs (To read about these, click here). Even though we have our common beliefs, each church has slightly different variations on how they live out these beliefs.
Here at Redlands Uniting Church, we believe that God calls us to encourage and empower people to grow in their faith, help others to discover their faith and to connect with our community through service. This will help us to achieve God’s ultimate vision for our community, of More People, More like Jesus. We all try our best to achieve this vision but, we all know that nobody’s perfect (except for Jesus), and sometimes we miss the mark or get things wrong, but through the love and Grace of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins, we know we are forgiven.
As a Church, we believe that prayer is an important part of our Christian Faith. Prayer is one of the main ways we can communicate with God. We encourage people to pray, not just in Church on a Sunday, but regularly throughout their day. There are many people in our church that are praying for others.
One of the ways some people in our church connect to pray is through our Prayer Groups. Our groups prays for any prayer requests, for our community and the wider world.

All are welcome to attend our prayer groups but if you are unable to attend in person, you are encouraged to pray along from where you are. Our groups finds it very encouraging if you send them a message letting them know that you're praying with them.
Another way that our church actively prays for others is through our prayer chain. The prayer chain connects via phone calls for urgent prayer. To contact the prayer chain, you'll need to contact the Church office via email, phone call or the contact form down below.
To send in a prayer request for the prayer group, or if you would like more information about the prayer group, please fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page or contact the Church office or email admin@redlandsuc.com.au.
